What is the General Purpose Reloadable Card (GPR)?
The General Purpose Reloadable Card is a prepaid card that works similar to a debit card and is reloadable. The GPR provides value to cardholders in terms of giving them spending power using a credit card but at the same time limiting spending to what has been funded on the card by the consumer. GPR cards must be reloaded at the financial institution or a participating branch where the card was initially purchased.
Can I give my GPR as a gift?
No. A GPR is not a gift card. The card will be sold and registered only to the adult individual present. Proper ID is required for purchase of the card, and your credentials will be screened at the time of purchase.
How do I activate my card?
The cardholder has two options to activate their prepaid card. Visit www.agileprepaid.com to register and activate your card-registration requires card number, expiration date, social security number and address. You may also activate your prepaid card by calling 855-428-PAID (7243). The audio system will prompt you to select a PIN at the time of activation.
Is this a credit card?
No. It is a prepaid card. The amount of money you can spend or withdraw is limited to the amount of money that you have on the card. You cannot spend more than your account balance.
Do I need to keep a minimum balance on my card?
No, there is no minimum balance requirement.
Is there a limit of funds I can add to my card?
The maximum initial load is $2,000. The maximum daily load to a card is $1,000 per rolling 24 hour period. The maximum card balance cannot exceed $5,000.
Does my card expire? Prepaid cards have a “valid through” date. Your prepaid card cannot be used if this date has passed. If your card has a remaining balance after this “valid through” date, you may call and request a new card at 855-428-PAID (7243). Fees may apply. (Fees are detailed in the Cardholder Agreement.)
How do I add more funds to my card? You can reload your card by returning to any branch of the Financial Institution you purchased your card from to reload funds to your card.
Are there monthly service fees? There is a $5.75 monthly maintenance fee for an active card. This fee is applied at the beginning of every month. All fees and limitations are detailed in the Cardholder Agreement.
Can I change my PIN (Personal Identification Number)? Yes. You can change your PIN by calling the IVR at 855-428-PAID (7243) and following the automated prompts. Additional information will be required to verify this request. When speaking to a live agent, fees may apply. You may also visit www.agileprepaid.com to change your PIN, you will need to register for the site if you have not already done so.
When I am making a purchase, do I press Debit or Credit at the checkout terminal?
Your prepaid card is capable of performing both PIN-based and Signature-based transactions; but to perform PIN based purchases, you must assign a PIN to the card. You can create a PIN by calling the IVR or using the website www.agileprepaids.com. The website will not prompt you to assign a PIN automatically, buy you can choose and/or change your PIN by clicking on the “Manage PIN” tab of the site.
Can I use my Prepaid card at the ATM to access cash?
Yes. After you set up your PIN, you can use your prepaid card to access cash at any ATM. (Fees will apply)
Are there any spending limits associated with my card?
Yes, there are spending limits associated with the General Purpose Reloadable Card. Please see the Card Limitation Schedule in the Appendix A of this document.
How can I check my card balance and the transactions I have made?
If you have already registered your prepaid card, you may check your card balance and card transactions anytime by going to the website www.agileprepaid.com. You can also call 855-428 PAID (7243) to check your balance and transactions.
Will I earn Interest on the funds in my prepaid card?
No your card does not earn interest.
How do I use my Prepaid Card at gas stations?
When purchasing gas, please take your card to the attendant before pumping your gas. Tell the attendant to charge the amount you wish to purchase, have the attendant charge that amount to the card and sign for the purchase. Then, you can pump your fuel. If for some reason you need to pay at the pump, you need to select Debit and enter your PIN. Please note that if you choose Debit to pay for gas at a pump, most gas pumps will hold $100 from your card until the merchant settles the transaction. Your card will decline at the pump if there are not enough funds to complete this authorized hold.
Can my card be used to make online purchase?
Yes. For online purchasing, the merchant may ask for a billing address. The billing address provided at the time of purchase should be used. If you need to change your billing address, you may update this information by accessing www.agileprepaid.com . This address can be updated by clicking on the Manage Card button then the Card Profile sub navigation option on this website.
Can I use my prepaid cards at restaurants?
Pre-authorized for the amount of the bill PLUS 20% gratuity. Be sure that the balance on the card is sufficient to cover the cost of the bill plus any anticipated gratuity. If the card is declined, ask the merchant to obtain an authorization for an amount equal to or less than the balance on the card.
Can I use my prepaid card at a hotel?
Yes. The clerk will verify that your card has sufficient funds to pay an estimated bill for the number of days requested. That amount will be held in your account, making that amount unavailable for other purchases. It is a good idea to make sure you have enough money in your account to pay for your purchases before you make them. (Most hotel chains hold $250 at check-in)
What if the purchase amount is greater than the remaining balance on my prepaid card?
An authorization at the POS terminal will only be given for the amount available on the prepaid card. If the purchase amount is more than the remaining balance on your prepaid card, your card will decline. IN order to use your card, you should first pay the cashier for the amount that your purchase exceeds your remaining balance. Then you should ask the cashier to run your prepaid card through for the amount of the remaining balance as a regular charge.
What if my prepaid card is lost or stolen or needs to be cancelled for any reason?
Please contact cardholder services immediately at 855-428-PAID (7243) so the card can be replaced. Please refer to the fee schedule to determine if fees apply.
Am I responsible for unauthorized usage of my Prepaid card?
Under the MasterCard zero liability policy; you are protected against certain unauthorized purchases on your card. If you suspect an unauthorized purchase has occurred, contact Cardholder Services immediately at 8550-428-PAID (7243). Terms and conditions apply.
